Vorboss owns and operates a fibre network built for businesses in London. The service is relevant to organisations that need symmetrical, uncontended bandwidth for cloud applications, large data transfers, off-site backup, hosted systems or busy office networks.

IP6net can source Vorboss connectivity where the building is within network coverage and the product matches the technical requirement.

Service options

Vorboss business internet is delivered over high-capacity fibre, with services currently available from 1Gbps through to 100Gbps depending on product and location. Higher access capacity can provide room for future upgrades without replacing the underlying connection, although the committed service, router, firewall and internal network must all be sized for the selected throughput.

Options may include:

• Direct internet access for a business site.
• Diverse internet services where separate routes are available.
• Point-to-point carrier tails for linking sites or data-centre services.
• Managed failover, DDoS protection or cloud connectivity where appropriate.

Availability, route diversity and installation times are checked for each address rather than assumed from a postcode result.

Planning and support

IP6net can coordinate the availability check, quotation, wayleave process and installation. We confirm the handoff, addressing and equipment requirements, then plan the change to the customer firewall or router.

For managed customers, the circuit can be incorporated into network monitoring and the normal support process. IP6net can investigate the local network, edge device and carrier service as one incident, then escalate to Vorboss with the relevant diagnostics when necessary.
